The donut fender is wrapped with EVA outside the metal cylinder, and the outermost layer is sprayed with polyurea.

Floating Donut Fender Installation
Installation of our Donut Fenders is very easy. The fenders will be delivered to the site ready for installation on the fender piles. Once lifted over and lowered onto the fender pile the fender should be ready for use.
Ballasting or trimming is not required as the fender will float at the designed level. Finally, a capping feature can be placed over the top of the fender pile to finish the installation off. The maintenance of our donut fenders is very low. The internal bearings are designed to allow the fender to rotate and float up and down with the tide for a period of 25 years.

(1) Pneumatic rubber fender adopts mixed natural rubber, with 60-64% rubber. (2) All metal parts contacting with sea water such as flanges, bolts, pins etc adopt HDG steel. (3) Inner layers is special air sealing layers. The outer rubber layer is UV-proof and anti-abrasion. Between them are rubber layers reinforced with cord net. The vulcanization time is 5 to 7 hours.
